Black Maple - Shmu the Canna Prophet house curation

Black Maple has garnered a lot of hype the last 2-3 years as a hash strain that’s part of Bloom Seed Co’s lineup. This is a hybrid of Dulce de Uvas x Sherbanger 22 but the traits of this sample lead me to believe this was hunted from seed and not the Black Maple 22 cut. The first thing I noticed out of the jar was how fresh it was, honestly almost too fresh. The nugs were super sticky and difficult to pull apart and also needed a bit of time to cure up. The nose and flavor are much more chlorine gassy with notes of grape and confection. The grape comes through much more on blend and also on blend you can see the freshness by the way it flows in the bottom grinder chamber. The flavor is a bit muddled even though all the aromas push through, but it’s very smooth regardless. The effect is slumpy and monotone-voice type of vibe but also train-of-thought diverting in the head change. The inhale is also full bodied and the potency is really solid where I don’t actively wish this was hash instead. Overall, like I’ve been saying with other Shmu items, it’s the best flower the menu has ever had at this price tier and would’ve been considered a mythical scoop just a few years ago
