Over the last few years I’ve smoked a handful of strains from Blueprint or that have been on the Blueprint lineup but from other brands. Peaches was one of the strains at their Zalympix booth last weekend that is pretty new in the lineup, and this is the first time I’ve seen it on any of the local menus. This came loose, which means the appearance is a little bit dense and smushed, but the value is excellent. Even though Blueprint is known for not releasing their genetics, their strains overlap with releases from the other brands that white label from that facility, and I speculate this strain is something along the lines of Z x Piña Cullato by Duke of Erb as it has that orange and Z flavor with a lot of bite and the type of mid school potency the Afternoon Pineapple brings to the mix. The effect is very potent and droopy eye, and nothging I would consider functional. It’s flavorful and distracting like I would expect from the best gelatos, but the flavor and effect are much more complex. Overall, this is a great offering from Blueprint and a great value from DC Source, even thought it could be a little bit more fresh. The flavor is super cool and the value is great, but the other two that are in the lineup are better and reviews of those will come later this week.
