Gelonade - Doja

Doja has gone on the record in interviews and in promo post saying that he smokes an ounce or more of flower per day mostly in 3.5g joints, and most of what he smokes in his headstash is Gelonade. After smoking this batch of Gelonade, and experiencing the aromas and potency, I would be smoking this a lot of the time if I had an infinite supply as well. I reviewed a version of Gelonade they released about 11 months ago in the Doja Direct jars and I also tried the Super Dope Lemon Poppers a bunch of times which was also rebadged in the Doja bags. The Charas boys insisted this Gelonade was a must-try even though I’ve had it so many times, and usually when they make a recommendation it’s right on the money. The cut Doja uses is not the most intensely pissy lemon flavor of the Lemon Tree and hits more the way of Lemonheads candy with a lot of sweetness and gas from the Bacio. Upon opening the bag, I was greeted with sticky, resinous nugs, which are far and away the most impressive I’ve gotten of this strain. The aroma erupts out of the bag, which translates to equally saturated flavor and it’s a serious joy to smoke. Where this sample really shines is the potency, which is truly immense without being overwhelming. The effect is energizing but not quite cerebral, heavy without being sedative and has quite a long duration. Overall, this was a massive improvement since the last time I tried this strain and it’s a ganuine banger, therefore it’s an easy recommendation from me.
