Gas Face - Shmu the Canna Prophet house curation
You may be reading this and thinking “dang there have been a lot of Shmu menu items on review lately” but the reason for that is because value for money especially at the oz rate, the listings are super competitive and there’s a great variety. Gas Face is a great example of this. The nugs presented are massive and swollen just the way I appreciate, but what really got me is the flavor. The genetics of this strain are Face Mints x Biscotti/Sherb by Seed Junky Genetics and I’ve been kind of hunting for samples of this for a while. I personally love those Face Off and Animal Mints hybrids, and the pollen donor is that same Biscotti/Sherb Seed Junky used for Permanent Marker, so it always perplexed me why this hybrid never really took off the same way. The short answer is that the flavor just isn’t as saturated as Perm, but that’s more a testament to Perm than a knock on Gas Face. Shmu has these mondo nugs on his menu for a really competitive rate, and I enjoyed smoking it a lot, not just compared to other things of the ticket. Overall, the flavor, effect and smoke are all right on and this is a really easy recommendation for me to make.
