Struckleburst - Upward Organics

I’ve only gotten to try Upward Organics a few times, but every time I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the experience and specifically the flavor. The smoothness has been great, the luster is incredible and it’s safe to say they’re in the upper echelon of sungrown producers on the east coast with their rosin also being some of the best on this side full stop. Struckleburst is an in-house hybrid of their Struckleberry #6 x Starburst 36. Starburst 36 seems to be one of the flavors that translates best when grown outdoor, which I also found with the Blowpops 36 I tried earlier. It tastes almost exactly like one of the guava Starburst candies with a lot of artificial candy, mango and chocolate blueberry. The effects are kind of all over the place, not necessarily in a bad way, just highly stimulating in a bunch of different directions. It’s very potent even from smaller dabs, but in my opinion the best way to hit this is big and hot. Overall, Struckleburst is predictably an excellent offering from Upward and I enjoyed it a lot. The menu I got it lists it for a bit of a premium, but this brand isn’t the easiest to get in this market, so it’s understandable. Either way, this flavor is amazing and represents a much bigger risk taken on genetics than most other bigger hash brands would take.
