Pink Lemonade - Skunkfoot Farms

So last month I went up to New York for the ADHD event and got to see Scott from Skunkfoot, who I was told would be there with samples of their new batches. He was smoking a joint of Pink Lemonade and showing off some jars of it and the Rainbow Belts and I know I had to find Caso as soon as possible to tell him these batches were must-haves for the Shmu menu. If you’ve ever met the Skunkfoot crew, especially Scott, you would see that they’re the kind of folks where you’d be shocked if they didn’t have incredible weed. If I’m being honest, when I smelled both of these flavors at Not Your Average Fest I was not impressed. My first association was that these flavors were “dead” the way British folks describe it, but boy am I glad I gave these strains, especially this one, a second chance. This batch of Pink Lemonade is nothing short of incredible. It’s fresh, perfectly trimmed, and the resin really glistens on the nug. The nose is similar to your typical lemon skunk note on the front end but it’s a more full crystal light dust note in back. The flavor is analogous to the scent but hits the palate differently when being combusted vs vaped. The vapor is lemon forward with the crystal light gas creeping in at the end, whereas in the joint the sweetness is upfront and the lemon rind lingers. In addition to being very tasty, this strain is also very potent. It’s mostly cerebral stimulation and headbanding but the feeling is more relaxing than uplifting. It’s sort of distracting in the vibe, wildly heady but doesn’t have that stimulant crash you get from a lot of more dedicated “sativas.” Overall, this is not only a great offering from Skunkfoot but it’s one I enjoyed a lot more than I expected. This batch is really dialed in and it sets a good omen for the level of fire we’ll be seeing in 2025
