Diesel Delight - Firefly Organics

If you’ve read my reviews previously, you know that Firefly is one of my favorite cultivators in the country, maybe my favorite of all time. Secret Cookies from them is my second favorite selection of all time, so it’s reasonable to infer that my expectations out of their canopy would be very high. Over the years I’ve never really been disappointed by anything I’ve smoked from Firefly and that doesn’t start now. Diesel Delight, which is their Bio Diesel x GSC and beyond my personal affinity for Terps like this, the offering is very strong. The nugs arrived as they typically do from Firefly, manicure trimmed and covered in resin, which is a testament to the soul of their soil and the labor it takes to get to this level. The nose and flavor are a fairly uncomplex diesel over confectionary gas, but the smell is disgustingly pungent and distinctive and the flavor properly coats the palate and leaves a lingering halitosis. This flower might not be the most potent outright, but the effect is a euphoric, uplifting all-around good vibe that gave me a proper start to my day. This strain goes well with coffee and a bagel (the New York way) but it’s also relaxing and sociable weed that would probably be great for an early afternoon sesh with the homies as well. Overall, this an excellent offering from Firefly, and exceeds the hype I’ve drawn up for it in my head. This is certainly one I want to come back to and an easy recommendation
