207 Headband - Best Friend Farms
207 Headband by Best Friend Farms has been something of a Maine legend the last couple years, and for whatever reason it’s just completely eluded my headstash. Hash on the Hudson heard my cries for heat and hooked it up with this sample, and it was totally worth the wait. Best Friend Farms previously won awards at High95 Cup and I’ve tried their cuts of Chem D PK and Sunburn from Average Cannabis grower, which I really enjoyed. 207 Headband is a hybrid Headband x Shoki Mask, a second generation in-house hybrid. This sample has features from many of my favorite kush strains such as the sweetness from Kosher, the deep fuel of Headband, the funky bite from GMO as well as the bright skunk undertone from Shoki. As good as this smells and tastes, it hits even harder. This is in the upper echelon of potency of the things I’ve tried this year, but it’s also highly stimulating and purely relaxing. I don’t experience this as particularly energizing and I also find this has a pretty hard crash, which if I’m smoking this in the day will make me want to take a nap. Overall, 207 Headband is 99mph fastball type heat and it’s clear why the folks I know with refined palates love it so much. The effects and flavor impressed me a lot and it’s certainly a Maine favorite going forward. Best Friend Farms’ products are also MOFGA and DEM Pure certified, which means peace of mind for the consumer regarding clean inputs. If you want weed that cuts no corners, 207 Headband is it.
