Ztan - Flavor Farming
Frankly, I’m a bit shocked it took this long to get Flavor Farming flower on the site, but I strongly believe this dense, glistening magnum opus is worth the wait. Ztan is Flavor Farming’s own creation thats a hybrid of Z x Zowahh, which makes it a Zkittlez Bx with Karma Sour. When I first saw this back in December, immediately I knew it was going to be the new flagship flavor, from it’s excellent appearance – especially for a Z hybrid – to killer aroma, and just three months later this fresh batch confirms that has been the case. Flavor Farming has released it as both flower and rosin in the intervening time, as well as a Misty’s Melts collab for both rosin and full melt. In my opinion, Ztan is the cutting edge of genetics on the east coast. It blends modern and old school flavors, fully stimulates the body on the effect and the overall expression is expertly selected. Right out of the jar, but especially on the blend, you notice this sample is running on amps turned to 11. The aroma hits me as candy over garbage, which is noticeably different than any other Z x Sour cross I’ve tried before. In the flavor, the distinctiveness in the notes hits the same way as in the smell, but the flavor notes are much more complex, adding a citrus rind sweetness, limey sour and a lot of gas. Effects-wise, it’s what you expect from the cross, mostly a relaxing effect but with some cerebral stimulus, and for my body chemistry it gives me a focus boost. The potency is a remarkable head change and perfect for a wake and bake with a formidable peak and no real crash or edge. Overall, Ztan is an incredible sample that has just about everything to offer, and in my opinion it’s Flavor Farming’s best work yet. It has both mass appeal and niche appeal, and it’s an easy recommendation to basically anyone, especially for the steal of a price point at which you can usually find it.
