The Original Z - Doja

I’ve reviewed Doja Z a few times in the past, and it’s always a pleasant surprise when I’m offered some for review. In the past, I’ve tried versions produced at Hi Tech and TJT Joint Ventures (where Green Dawg, Blueprint, Turtle Pie Co, Good Pizza get their weed produced), as well as the one in the Doja Direct jars, which I suspect to be Preferred Gardens. This one is easily the biggest nug I’ve gotten in a Doja bag, maybe ever, and also one of the strongest nugs of Z I’ve ever gotten, which was a nice surprise over previous batches which have been smaller and more scrungly in appearance. The scent of lime rinds and gas also erupts out of the bag when you open it, which is also a great impression. The nose on this is a bit more straight citrus than some other Z variants I’ve tried, but it’s also super loud. The flavor is similar, being lime rind and remarkably gassy, the gas being something I’m not as used to with Z, but the flavor absolutely coats the palate and it’s approachable in a way stoners of all kinds and ages would appreciate. The inhale feels very full-bodied, not airy like I’ve gotten off some versions of Z in the past. The effects also onset rapidly, and it’s the slumpy euphoria with some focus that I’m used to. The potency was solid, but not intense, however potency on Z is a bit more body chemistry dependent and doesn’t hit everyone the same way. Overall, Doja’s Original Z is a formidable version of Z. The nugs are some of the most impressive nugs of Z I’ve seen, especially from a large brand, the effect hits the way I want it to and the flavor is enchanting as usual. It’s probably the best Original Z has been from the Doja camp, and it’s something I would still recommend on a lineup of newer more exclusive strains.
