Zazul x ZAnimal - Dank Syndicate
Out of all the producers in the Bay Area, Dank Syndicate is the one I’ve most frequently been eager to try. I previously got to try their RS11 and I thought it smoked proper, so when GSL Bill hit me with a mystery bag of Dank, I was nothing short of hyped. Upon immediate inspection, the Z notes jumped out at me and I figured it was something related to the ZAnimal they released last year. The nose is mostly Z, but the cookie and OG traits in the background bring out the fragrant fruit aromas. The flavor is also incredibly strong and saturated with a lingering grease flavor that I like a lot. While the nugs were super fresh, they arrived a bit clustered together, which is a testament to how sticky the flowers are despite the bad eye appeal. The flower arrived super fresh and smoked perfectly smooth. Out of all the Z crosses I’ve smoked this year, and I’ve smoked a lot of them, hardly any have been this particularly potent and have an effect this cozy and euphoric. It’s everything Z lovers want but also a heavier high and more intense emotional effect. Overall, this is another smash hit from Dank Syndicate, and it makes me wish the brand was more popular in this market.
