Pink Pony - Faraway Farmstead

I’ve gotten to try Faraway Farmstead a couple of times in other people’s stashes and once as rosin, but this is the first time I’ve gotten to review their flower. Part of why I was excited about Pink Pony was for the Chappell Roan name, but after learning about the genetics I was hype to try another killer energizing strain that east coasters will love. The hybrid is Chem Sis/Super Silver Haze x Mother of Berries/Freezeland bred by Jedi Ganja Warrior who’s done a ton of iconic genetics in Maine. The initial impressions are very Silver Haze forward, which is expected from the nearly orange hue of copper pistils over neon green nugs. The flavor is also forward with the Haze, but as the flavors peel off the palate you get a strong diesel and a lingering pink berry note. It’s multifaceted and the smoothness is key for exploring the complexity. The effect is as buzzy as the flavor with an alert and focused effect, but the Chem and the berry take the edge off. Overall, Pink Pony has a lot going on and has a lot of desirable traits and the value is great. In my opinion, this is a real dark horse on this current menu.
